FOR(BACK)WARDS

I convinced a mirror my brief life was infinite.

I squeezed a drop of blood out of my sandstone eyes.

Juice.

I sucked a piece of bent copper out of my chocolate liver.

Money.

I spent every night at my knees praying against a stranger.

Pressure.

I bought a ticket wrapped in shiny foil for a bus straight to you.

Cycle.

I convinced a mirror my brief love was endless.

Yesterday.
