Just like you, I am a survivor.
Twenty-eight years in the making and obscenely proud of my journey.
There is something to be said about survival. You think once the physical trauma is over, you will wake the next morning an entirely different person.
Unfortunately, that is never the case and I am here to shred apart misconceptions of being a person with trauma. I hope that by reading these stories, poems, and personal reflections, that you too, will fall in love with the wonderful agony that is escaping pain.
It is a fight, a brutal one, but nothing you cannot handle.
